Biography

Tony Her arrived in the USA at the age of 14 from Laos, as a refugee and without parents. He spoke no English at the time and graduated from Central Senior High School in 1985.  Tony is married with five children and has lived in Ward 6 for over twenty years.

Professional:

  • 1994 – present, Education Assistant for Saint Paul Public Schools Board
  • 1998 – 2002, Park Ranger for the Saint Paul Police Department

  • 1994 – present, Volunteer Instructor of Wushu Physical Discipline
  • 2000 – present, Hmong Cultural Advisor
